Polyurethane Adhesives: An overview

Polyurethane Adhesives
Polyurethane (PU) adhesive are the adhesives having the polymer chain units connected by carbamate or urethane bonds. The PU adhesives are weather resistant, provide high strength, and provide flexible curing period at both ambient and extreme temperature. PU adhesives are commercially available as 1-component and 2-component adhesive. As it has excellent adhesion to rubber, leather, textiles, metal, paper, wood, and plastics, it is preferred in various application segments such as automotive & transportation, packaging industries, etc.
